Cupertino, CA May 3, 2005 Neterion, the industry leader in the emerging 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter market for server and storage environments, announced that it has named Roland Thibodeau as the company's Vice President of Sales. Thibodeau has over twenty years of sales, marketing and strategic planning experience in network infrastructure hardware and software markets.
"We're very pleased to have an individual with such proven ability join our management team," said Dave Zabrowski, President & CEO of Neterion. "Roland has co-founded very successful companies, built and led multi-million dollar sales organizations and developed outstanding partners programs. His sales expertise will be a great corporate asset as we continue our leadership position in the 10 Gigabit Ethernet market."
In 1995 Thibodeau co-founded JNI Corporation, a Fibre Channel storage networking products company. As EVP of Sales, he helped lead sales growth from $3M to $108M in four years. "I've worked with some very successful companies in the past and when I looked at Neterion I saw the same qualities: a superior management team, solid financial backing, outstanding design engineers and a product roadmap based on customer's real needs," stated Thibodeau. "I'm extremely impressed with their existing customer base and look forward to helping Neterion accelerate their momentum in the 10 Gigabit Ethernet server and storage markets."
